History

The Dominican Convent Pre-School, (Saint Rose of Lima) was officially opened on 11^th May, 2015. We began with 24 children between the ages of 3 and 6 among whom 13 were girls and 11 were boys. From the time we opened, the number has increased and we are currently having 37 girls and 34 boys giving us a total of 71.

The increase in number is due to the positive attribution the parents have and are rendering to the community. Not forgetting the dedication and hard work of our members of staff.

Our Mission Statement emphasises the education of the whole child.  It means that we look at the holistic development of the child. This cannot happen in isolation but rather through the positive relationship between the school and you the parents. We also strive to train children to be responsible and lifelong learners who are able to make appropriate decisions in their lives. Along with these qualities, we want our pupils to be confident and fully integrated individuals.
